Yes. Your first consultation is free, at any of our 9 clinics or by video. You meet a provider, talk about your goals and your health, and decide what's right for you.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are welcome for all of our weight loss services. You can also book a time online or by phone, which saves you time.
What should I bring to my first visit?
A photo ID, a list of the medications you take, and any recent lab results. Your first visit usually takes 20 to 30 minutes.
Do you take insurance?
No, we don't accept insurance. You can pay with an FSA card.
How can I pay?
In the clinic we take cash, credit cards, and financing through Cherry or CareCredit.
What's included in a weekly injection visit?
A check-in with your provider, your vitals and your weekly injection (S-Factor2 or T-Factor). Lab work is separate.
How often will I come in?
On a weekly injection program, once a week for your vitals and injection. On an appetite suppressant program, your first 4 visits are weekly check-ins. After that, it depends on your prescription: every month, every 8 weeks or every 12 weeks.
Who will I see?
A licensed nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA).
Do I need lab work?
Yes. If you've had labs in the past 6 months, bring the results. If not, we can do them in the clinic. Labs are needed every 12 months and have a separate fee.
Can I have my visits by video?
Yes, if you live in California. Weight loss consultations and weekly injection programs are available by video, and you'll need a government-issued California ID at check-in. Appetite suppressant programs, along with aesthetic, laser and IV treatments, are in the clinic.
How does my medication get to me?
You have two easy options. Same-day delivery: pick a 2-hour window today, or schedule a day and time that suits you, and a driver brings it straight from your clinic to your door. Or choose standard shipping: your order is carefully packed with cold packs, typically ships by UPS within 1 to 3 business days, and usually arrives the next day.
Can I switch between video and clinic visits?
Yes. You can start by video and come into a clinic later, or start at a clinic and continue by video. Just tell your provider what works best for you, and they'll plan your next steps together.
Is there a minimum age?
Our weight loss programs start at age 16, and patients under 18 need a parent's or guardian's approval. For children, our Kids Program uses all-natural supplements, and a provider decides if it's a good fit.
Do you have Spanish-speaking staff?
Yes. Each clinic usually has at least one team member who speaks Spanish. Se habla español.
