HOW MUCH IS IT TO GET STARTED?

There are no start-up fees. You only pay for whatever it is you choose to get to start your weight loss goal.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

There is no need to schedule an appointment. We are a walk-in clinic. So, come in today to get started with your FREE consultation.

WHAT IS BMI?

Body Mass Index, or BMI, is number calculated from your weight and height that roughly correlates to the percentage of your total weight that comes from fat. We will calculate your BMI for you during your FREE consultation.

  • BMI <20 Underweight
  • BMI 20-25 Healthy weight
  • BMI 25-30 Overweight
  • BMI 30-35 Obese
  • BMI 35-40 Morbid Obese
  • BMI >40 Severe Morbid Obese
HOW LONG IS YOUR WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM?

For best results, we recommend you be on the weight loss program for three months, then take a break. If you commit to it for less than a month, most of your weight loss would be water weight loss and not fat. But beyond three months, most people will no longer lose weight and be “stuck” at the weight-loss plateau despite continuing exercise and diet changes. We will then recommend a natural program and of course continue with your diet and exercise.

DO YOU USE PRESCRIBED MEDICATIONS?

YES, our provider may prescribe an appetite suppressant, phentermine/phendimetrazine, approved by the FDA since 1959 for the short-term treatment of exogenous obesity in conjunction with a regimen of weight reduction based on caloric restriction, exercise and behavioral modification. The medication is one of the many tools we use to help you lose weight. We focus on changing your behavior and modifying your lifestyle to help you lose weight.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I AM DONE WITH YOUR WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM?

After three months, you will want to get on a natural program. You may resume eating carbohydrate again but you should maintain between a 1600-calorie to 1800-calorie per day diet or whatever was discussed with the Physician that would be best for you. Keeping the weight off will require an ongoing effort.
